Yesterday, nearly 400 community members from both Menlo School and Sacred Heart came together for the third annual Valpo Run. The 5K fun run and walk raised $15,000 in support of Peninsula Bridge, which helps prepares highly motivated underserved students for success in college preparatory school programs and four-year colleges. Menlo School has proudly had a long history supporting this exceptional program.
At Sunday’s run, Menlo alum Sam Parker (’11) and community member Angie Morey were the first-place male and female runners. Congratulations to all our participants. You can view the complete list of the results here.
Thank you to everyone who ran and walked as well as to all of the volunteers who helped make this event possible. We hope to see many more of you there next year!
