Eligibility Requirements
The criteria for determining a student’s fit with our program are:
- Student attends one of our feeder schools and comes from a low-income home
- Student is recommended by a current teacher
- Student is in top 25% of his or her class as measured by GPA and/or STAR test scores
All prospective students must satisfy the above criteria to be considered for the program.
When considering eligibility we also consider the student’s ability and interest to stay with the program for three or four consecutive summers.
If a prospective student meets all of the criteria and has a sibling in the program we will give the student priority over other incoming students.
