The Peninsula Bridge program would not be possible without the generous support from the teachers, administrators and parents from some of the finest schools on the San Francisco Peninsula.
Efforts to leverage various community programs to benefit Bridge participants are highly successful. Each year 5-10% of Bridge students are admitted to the independent schools for the full school year. Scholarship funds are available from Bridge to support selected students at each of the participating sites.
Bridge students also participate in Stanford University's Upward Bound Program, the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Youth Community Service, World Affairs Council, Summer Search Programs, and one-on-one tutoring and mentoring programs. Peninsula Bridge is continuously seeking new resources for each student participating in the program.
