Grainger Marburg, Executive Director

Grainger has been the Executive Director of Peninsula Bridge since June 2005. He brings over 18 years of combined experience in education, management consulting, philanthropy, and non-profit management to the position. Highlights of his career include a teaching assignment in Micronesia as a Peace Corps Volunteer and managing a neighborhood improvement initiative in San Jose, California. Grainger's commitment to educational, social, and economic equity has strongly informed his professional choices, which is exemplified by his current position as Executive Director of the Peninsula Bridge Program. Sherri Shaner, Development Director

Sherri joined Peninsula Bridge in 2004. She oversees the fundraising component for the organization and works closely with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. She has over 16 years of management experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. As the Chief Development Officer of Project HIRED, she launched the Raising More Money model and was successful in substantially increasing financial support for the organization. Sherri holds leadership positions in volunteer organizations such as Professional Technical Diversity Network and Association of Fundraising Professionals. Sherri holds a B.S. from U.C. Rosa Rodriguez, Program Associate

Rosa joined Peninsula Bridge in March 2008 and supports both the development and program areas. As the first member of her family to earn a master's degree, she is a wonderful liaison with the parents, and has been instrumental in helping Peninsula Bridge communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with them. Carole Haensel, Development Associate

Carole joined the Peninsula Bridge team in 2009 as a Development Associate responsible for maintaining the Bridge fundraising and reporting systems.  Previously, Carole worked as a reporting systems analyst at Apple Computer Inc.  She received her B.S. in Business Administration from San Jose State University.

Chloe Kamprath, Program Director

Chloe came to Peninsula Bridge in 2010 to work on curriculum development and program evaluation. She provides teacher support, conducts site observations, and is developing a transition program for parents and students. Chloe comes to us with over 30 years of experience in education, most recently working at Mid-Peninsula High School, where she served as head of school, development director and admissions officer. She received a B.A. from Utah State University, and additional work at UC extension, the University of Utah, and Santa Clara University.
